Officials and athletes gathered at a national federation congress

Governance

The governing body
of the sport

We are the recognised national authority — independent, member-led and accountable. Our mandate is to grow the sport, protect its integrity and uphold one standard for every athlete in the country.

Our mission

To make the sport accessible, fair and aspirational for every community — building a clear pathway from the first club session to the national team and the international podium, governed transparently and free from doping.

Our vision

A nation where the sport is among the most practised and most respected — with full regional coverage, a professional officiating corps, and athletes consistently competing for continental and world honours.

How we are organised

Federation structure

A member-elected Congress sets policy; an elected Board governs between congresses; standing committees deliver the day-to-day work of the sport.

The Congress

The supreme authority — every affiliated club and regional body holds a vote on statutes, elections and the strategic plan.

The Board

Eleven elected directors — President, Vice-Presidents, Secretary General, Treasurer and members — accountable to Congress.

Standing committees

Technical, Athletes', Coaching, Officiating, Medical & Anti-Doping, Ethics, and Finance & Audit committees deliver the work.
